Teleios Academy is a non-denominational private Christian school in Belton, MO. Find our more about our staff:
I am a lifelong learner and educator with over 40 years of experience in Christian education, teaching grades PK-12. I hold a Master's in Educational Administration and am a certified Missouri state principal. This year, I will be teaching first grade, marking my sixth year in this role. My husband and I are passionate about Christian education and are excited to be part of Teleios Academics. We enjoy spending time with our family, attending church, and are avid Kansas City Chiefs fans.
Dedra Pease is a Christian educator with thirty-five years of experience. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Education/Health from Southwest Baptist University and a Master of Science of Education in Organization and Administration from Calvary University. She has lifetime certification in Missouri in K-12 physical education and health and 7-9 English and science. She has also earned principal certification with the Association of Christian Schools International. Her joy comes from impacting a student's life spiritually as well as assisting them in their educational journey.
With over 12 years of teaching experience, Krislyn Booth brings a wealth of knowledge and a deep passion for Christian education to everything she does. Obtaining a bachelor’s degree from the University of Central Missouri, she has spent over a decade in the classroom. As a homeschool mother of four, Krislyn is uniquely equipped to connect with families seeking personalized, flexible educational solutions. She believes that learning is most effective when it's dynamic and student-centered. Krislyn's approach to education goes beyond the textbook—she's dedicated to fostering a love of learning in her students and empowering them to reach their fullest potential, both academically and in their relationship with Christ. When she’s not teaching, she enjoys spending time with her family, reading, crocheting and exploring God’s beautiful creation.
Having grown up in Belton, I love calling this community home with my spouse, Russ, and our three wonderful children—Isaac, Elaina, and Rosie. My journey has taken me through full-time church ministry, running a photography business, and six years of homeschooling our children. When they transitioned to private school, I felt a strong calling to step into professional teaching. I hold a degree in Photography from the University of Central Missouri and am now in my second year of private education after earning my teaching certification.
Teaching is more than a profession for me—it’s a passion. I strive to create an engaging, encouraging classroom where students feel valued, challenged, and inspired to be their very best. I teach second grade Tuesday through Thursday, focusing on building strong academic foundations while fostering curiosity and confidence in young learners. On Fridays, I have the joy of teaching music and STEM, where students explore creativity, problem-solving, and hands-on learning. In music class, we develop rhythm, vocal technique, and performance skills, incorporating both recorder and handbell instruction to build musical literacy, coordination, and ensemble playing. In STEM, students dive into hands-on exploration through messy science experiments, LEGO engineering challenges, and exciting projects that introduce engineering concepts, scientific discovery, and critical thinking in fun and interactive ways.
Outside the classroom, I enjoy making music, tending to my garden, and camping with my family.
Angie is passionate about fostering creativity and movement in students. As the Art and Physical Education Teacher for our Enrichment Program at Teleios Academy, she brings engaging, hands-on experiences that encourage self-expression, teamwork, and a lifelong appreciation for both the arts and physical activity. With a background in Christian education and ministry, Angie enjoys designing lessons that inspire students to explore their creativity, develop motor skills, and build confidence in their abilities.
In the art classroom, Angie encourages students to experiment with different techniques and materials, helping them express their unique ideas and emotions. In physical education, she emphasizes teamwork, sportsmanship, and healthy habits through fun and active games.
She is best known for her fun-loving, creative spirit and big heart for God. When not teaching, Angie enjoys spending time with her children and grandchildren. She is excited to be part of the Teleios Academy community and looks forward to helping students thrive through art and movement!
